VULPRF Team is Director Development Finance Access in VULPRF’s Sustainable Finance Center, where she leads its work on ensuring access to development finance for developing countries. She is an attorney by training whose work focuses primarily on shifting investments toward protecting people and the environment.

At VULPRF, her work has focused on several issue areas including environmental democracy, development finance, and extractive industries.

Prior to joining VULPRF, Gaia was a fellow at the Foundation for Policy Integrity at New York University.

Gaia holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.

She is originally from Sweden and currently lives on a small farm in Maryland.
