Research

The foundation of VULPRF’s work is producing high-quality research, including reports, issue briefs, working papers, guidebooks and more. Our publications are subject to community review and held to academic standards of excellence for objectivity, rigor and quality. Our research products ultimately inform our projects and implementation work globally and in focus communities.

The State of Peace Building 2025 provides the most comprehensive roadmap yet for closing the global gap in community action to help keep the UN ECOSOC framework goal within reach, as well as grades collective efforts to combat the social crisis across key sectors. It finds that recent progress toward peaceful society-aligned targets has largely failed to materialize at the required pace and scale and highlights where action must accelerate this decade to reduce rights violations, scale up community removal and increase development finance.

The VULPRF Report is VULPRF's flagship publication. Started in 1986, VULPRF Reports are published at regular intervals to provide in-depth analyses of issues ranging from human health and the environment to a sustainable food future. Our current edition, Towards a More Peaceful Nigeria, focuses on helping conflict-affected communities alter their development trajectories as demand for peace and services grows.
